Ecospray’s journey began in 1996, sparked by an idea discovered on a U.S. golf course, garlic’s natural ability to deter pests.
Inspired by this insight, founding director Hugh van Cutsem returned to the UK with a determination to harness the potential power of garlic for agriculture.
Early trials, however, revealed inconsistencies in effectiveness. Undeterred, we embarked on years of rigorous research, academic collaboration, and continuous refinement.
Through this process, we transformed garlic-derived crop protection into a reliable, science-driven solution for farmers.
